Student and Staff safety is of the utmost importance when canceling school. Ithaca Public Schools utilizes technology to notify our staff and students' parents/guardians if the school will be delayed or canceled for a day. If you are not a parent/guardian, you can download the Ithaca Schools App and subscribe to notifications in order to be notified of cancellations or delays.

During severe weather, parents may come to school to pick up their children if they prefer to have children at home. Children will be released only to parents unless written permission is given by parent and approved by the office.
