Meet up and Eat up

We’re so proud of our amazing 6th graders as they take their next big step towards Ithaca Junior High!
Your time at North Elementary has been filled with growth, laughter, friendships, and unforgettable memories. You’ve shown leadership, kindness, and Yellowjacket Pride every step of the way.
Though we’ll miss you, we know you’re ready to soar to new heights! #SwarmTogether

Two of North’s finest are retiring!
Join us in celebrating Mr. Showers, our RTC Coordinator, and Mrs. Della Allen, one of our beloved Paraprofessionals.
They’ve supported, guided, and cared for countless students over the years—and now it’s time for them to enjoy some well-earned rest and relaxation!
We’ll miss seeing their smiling faces every day, but we’re so excited for what’s ahead in their next adventure.
Congratulations and thank you for everything!

Market Day was a success for 4th graders! Most "businesses" sold out of products and all made a profit! Thank you to all of the parents who donated supplies and the shoppers who helped make this such a positive experience for our kids!

Despite the rainy weather, our Field Day was full of smiles, laughter, and nonstop fun! Students enjoyed a variety of exciting games and activities. Thanks to all of the high school students who helped run the activities. A big thank you to Mr. Rayburn for organizing such a memorable day for our students!

Ithaca Public Schools will be participating in Meet Up and Eat Up again this year. 7 Day packs can be picked up by parents or guardians starting June 10th between 7:30 am and 9:30 am. Distributions will be every Tuesday through August 18. In an attempt to make sure we have enough packs available for the entire community we are asking that you email ahanna@ithacaschools.net to get on the list for pick-ups. This is a first come first serve distribution and being on the list does not guarantee that we will not run out of food before you get here. Thank you for helping us try to serve the entire community. We plan on having 225 packs available on June 10th. See you there.
The 4th graders had an amazing time visiting the Silver Lake Sand Dunes! They even got to experience a Mac Wood's Dune Ride! What a day!

Our 5th and 6th grades will be going to Leisure Lake Family Campground tomorrow, June 3rd. If your child plans on swimming, please make sure to bring a swimsuit and towel. Sunscreen and water is highly recommended! Please make sure your child has a bag to carry their stuff in.
We had a beautiful day at Reed Park for our 3rd/4th grade end of the year celebration!

As we wrap up an incredible school year, we’re thrilled to recognize our May Students of the Month who have truly shined by demonstrating:
Enthusiasm – Bringing energy and excitement to everything they do!
Leadership – Guiding others with confidence, kindness, and integrity.
Other People Mindset – Always thinking beyond themselves and lifting others up.
Spiral Review – Living out all 24 Positivity Project character strengths we've focused on this year!
These students are amazing examples of what it means to be positive, kind, and full of Yellowjacket Pride! #SwarmTogether
