Mrs. Whitford’s class listened to “Never Ever Tickle a Turkey” and then got to make their own turkeys using real feathers! They were so excited to make their turkeys.

Mrs. Buchanan’s preschool class practiced letter formation and identifying letters today. We also enjoyed playing in the snow and building a snowman!





The SNOW has arrived at South! Please remember to send your child with all their snow gear. We will limit the amount of loaner snow pants so if you know it will be difficult to get snow pants for your child please call the South office for assistance at 988-875-4741.
It helps to put your child’s name on their coat, snow pants. boots, hats and gloves/mittens!!
Snow pants and boots are required to play in the snow :)





Second graders read Hello, Fall in STEAM lab and were challenged to create a wagon that the girl and her grandpa could use to easily carry their pumpkins.

South Elementary

During the month of November, South Elementary is partnering with United Way of Gratiot and Isabella Counties to raise money for Gratiot Hope House! United Way is committed to Matching all funds raised (up to $10,000) so now is your chance to double your donation! Please send your coins in with your student before the end of the month!!
South 2nd graders are leading the charge! Mrs. Vozar, Mrs. MacLaren and Mrs. Gulick’s classes show how much they have collected so far!!
