Kindergarten Round-Up at South is coming soon. Give our office a call at 989-875-4741 if you have a young learner ready for Kindergarten this Fall. We will place your family's name on our list, and answer any questions you have. Lastly, we will send you a registration packet to fill out ahead of the date. Make sure to mark your calendar!
South Elementary is always grateful for the overwhelming support of the community! This year $9,163.14 of books were purchased. And now, a portion of these sales will be coming back to South library. Miss Peggy will next purchase even more books for students to enjoy. There were so many happy faces shopping this year. And because of amazing community members, the Presbyterian Church, Pompeii Fireworks and the McAlvey family, many children received books.
The reading goal was 5,000 books/chapters this year. Not only did the students reach it, they greatly exceeded it! The combined total equaled 17,675 books! Thank you to everyone who encouraged the students to keep reading. Look at what can be accomplished when everyone works together! Excellent job Jackets!
