Throw back to School Transportation Week and some love for our Ithaca bus drivers! As we move through the winter, we are extremely grateful for our bus drivers. They get our students safely to school and back home each day. We couldn't do what we do without our drivers!

Elves in Mrs. Schaeding’s class have been busy at work!
Kindergarteners made puppets and puppet stages in STEAM lab!
Mrs.Dawe’s classroom decorated a tree with colored Christmas balls and enjoyed a graphing activity.
We enjoyed the assembly with the DuHadway Dancers as they performed songs from The Nutcracker today!
2nd graders enjoyed listening to local author, Janet Defever, read us her book, Second Chance Christmas: A True Story!

Noodle Hockey 🏒🏒
Kindergartners read Little Owl in the Big City and learned about a real owl found in the Rockefeller Christmas tree. They then created trees to hold an “owl”.
Kindergarten read to “The Shape of Things” and used shapes to draw a fire station in art today.
2nd grade listened to the story “Skin Like Mine” before creating skin tone rainbows using line, shape, and patterns with crayons, markers, and oil pastels. They were excited to be using special crayons and oil pastels for the first time.
Kindergarteners read The Animals’ Santa in STEAM lab and were challenged to build a snowy owl after learning that that’s who the animals’ Santa was!
First graders experimented with circuits today in STEAM and created play dough trees with working lights!
