Homecoming Week was full of awesome traditions! One of our favorite days of the week was when the cheerleaders and football players visited during lunch!

More school spirit on "Favorite Team" day!

Wednesday was "Favorite Team" dress up day. We had lots of Junior Jackets showing their school spirit!

Second graders created, tested, and measured spring-action cars with our Lego BricQ Motion kits. It was a perfect opportunity to collaborate and use all of their STEAM skills!

Tuesday we honored our students of the month for September. We asked staff members to nominate students that were great at "Teamwork". Congratulations to all our Junior Jackets!

More hat day fun!

Today we celebrated Homecoming week with Hat Day!

Today was "class colors" dress up day for Homecoming week. It was fun to find a "sea" of orange, red, and blue at lunchtime!

Students in Mrs. Groeneveld’s first grade class engaged in a hands on writing lesson using apples they picked on their field trip. The apples were yummy and their writing was sweet 🍎💙💛🐝

Popcorn Day‼️🍿
A huge thank you to our PTO and sponsors for making this monthly yummy treat possible. 😋

Kindergartners practiced observing the world with "science eyes" by creating binoculars in STEAM lab. They are true scientists!

Today was a technology day for our class! We took our NWEA Language Arts Assessment in the computer lab this morning.
Every Friday after lunch we use educational apps on our classroom IPads! It is amazing how fast these little ones learn how to log on & use this interesting & fun technology. I'm so proud of how careful & responsible these students are with their IPads! Way to go kindergarten kiddos!
