We had many visitors to our room on Friday during Grandparents/VIP day and it was so wonderful to welcome them to our school! Our students truly appreciate the experience and having the chance to showcase our current learning projects.

4th graders are going to miss Ms. Raymond and Ms. Anderson! They have been great student teachers for the last 16 weeks!

Thank you to Matt & Kari Vernon for donating the funds to purchase blanket kits. The 3rd graders enjoyed making the fleece blankets for Gratiot County Hope House. Community service and community partnerships at work supporting great causes.

Congratulations to Clare Resiterer for a 1st place and Ashlynn Skeith for a 3rd place finish in the Alma Elks Americanism Essay Contest. Both essays were then sent to the district, where six different Lodges sent their top three entries. While Ashlynn did not place at district, Clare came in first.
Both are invited to the Alma Elks' flag day ceremony after which will be presentations honoring the essay winners.
Ithaca North is proud to honor Clare and Ashlynn for their excellence and citizenship!

North students are actively using their problem solving skills to prepare for our 3rd-6th grade Invention Convention. Join us Thursday, April 27 from 6:00-7:00 pm when all inventions will be on display in the North gym. You will be amazed at what our young inventors are designing!

A big thank you to our community partners, PINS, for providing a pizza party for the 3rd graders in honor of our student teacher, Miss Swanson. You will be greatly missed, Miss Swanson !!
