Ithaca Parliamentary Procedure Team wins National Silver and in the top 25 in the United States. ⭐️ The Ithaca Parliamentary Procedure team did an outstanding job competing on the National Stage this week.
Team members are: Blake Morris, Quinne McMurphy, Emmalee Shankel, Emalee Woodard, Brent DeSaegher, Emma Polash & alternate Austin Barancik.

Mrs. VanDeWeghe planned another excellent round of mock interviews today. Our students behaved very professionally and are one step closer to success in the “real world”. Thank you to all the interviewers and congratulations to our senior interviewees.
On behalf of the Board of Education, I thank the Ithaca Public Schools’ voters for their support of the renewal of the sinking fund. Approval of the sinking fund will allow the school district to continue to update facilities, improve school security, upgrade technology, and purchase new buses and vans.
Again, I am grateful to the parents, staff, students, and other members of the community who helped us inform people about the sinking fund renewal.

Ithaca students competed at the National FFA convention in Indianapolis, Indiana this week. Congratulations to Ms. Siefka and these fine young students. The Law of Conservation of Mass! Our IHS chemistry students verify and observe the mass of a chemical reaction (between vinegar and baking soda), while trapping carbon dioxide gas in a balloon. This lab is one among many that students do each year in chemistry classes. Engaging opportunities at IHS inspire excellence! Go Jackets!
