Today was a technology day for our class! We took our NWEA Language Arts Assessment in the computer lab this morning. Every Friday after lunch we use educational apps on our classroom IPads! It is amazing how fast these little ones learn how to log on & use this interesting & fun technology. I'm so proud of how careful & responsible these students are with their IPads! Way to go kindergarten kiddos! 💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛💙

Mrs. Groeneveld's students learned about The Pledge of Allegiance. Students learned new vocabulary words: allegiance, republic, indivisible, liberty and justice. They also made their own American flag using just their hands and a glue stick!

We had so much fun during our library visit today! Ms. Peggy helped students choose a library book to borrow. Ms. Peggy spoke with students about book care: no liquids around books, no writing on books, and store your library book in your backpack! Books need to be returned before Wednesday each week. Thank you Ms. Peggy for making our library time special!
