We are so excited for our volleyball team!!! Good Luck!!!

What an exciting couple of weeks! Last week we got to cheer on our Varsity Cross Country Teams as they headed to their STATE meet and this week we were able to send off our Girls Varsity Volleyball Team to their history making first ever REGIONALS ! Go Jackets!!!


Third graders learned how ants work together to create bridges in STEAM. They were then challenged to build bridges using wooden planks and ants using twist ties.



The 5th graders learned a lot about nature and had a blast at Forest Hill Nature Center!




The latest issue of "The Buzz" has some needed information for our North School families. There is information regarding picture retakes on November 9, Student Safety during parent drop off and pick up and also information about the handbook cold weather clothing rules.
Please also take the time to read the flyer regarding Michigan School Bus Laws and the consequences of not following them.

Sixth graders learned about agricultural engineers in STEAM lab and were challenged to design pumpkin harvesters. They then tested their harvesters to see if they could move pom pom “pumpkins”!

After a busy two days of parent teacher conferences, we almost forgot to post our October Students of the Month!

Giving a big shout-out to Rite Aid in Ithaca for donating plastic bags for our book fair. Thanks a lot! It is greatly appreciated!

Today our sixth graders had a principal chat with Mrs. Rayburn and we discussed how to be a good sportsman and being kind to everyone. Also we learned how to be a good example to our peers and entire school as well as doing the right thing.
