Sixth graders learned about agricultural engineers in STEAM lab and were challenged to design pumpkin harvesters. They then tested their harvesters to see if they could move pom pom “pumpkins”!

After a busy two days of parent teacher conferences, we almost forgot to post our October Students of the Month!

Giving a big shout-out to Rite Aid in Ithaca for donating plastic bags for our book fair. Thanks a lot! It is greatly appreciated!

Today our sixth graders had a principal chat with Mrs. Rayburn and we discussed how to be a good sportsman and being kind to everyone. Also we learned how to be a good example to our peers and entire school as well as doing the right thing.

Today was a Glow Day of review with our sixth graders. We reviewed rates and ratios and spent time playing activities to help reinforce our learning.



Next week is our school book fair! We can’t wait to offer students the opportunity to get their hands on the books they love! All purchases will directly support our school, while helping to cultivate the love of reading in our children. There will be extended times to shop the book fair during Parent Teacher Conferences next week Wednesday and Thursday.
