3rd graders in all 3 classrooms were thrilled to receive our indoor recess goodies from a Donors Choose grant. Thank you again to all of you that donated to this grant on behalf of our students!!

Thank you Luke Stephens for helping our fifth graders understand how STEAM skills are used in Amazon warehouses! It was so great to have our questions answered by an experienced mechanical engineer…and to show-off some of our building skills!

Fifth graders started their shadow work in STEAM by creating foil sculptures “in motion” and sketching their shadows. See if you can spot a hockey player, a painter, a reader, and a dancer!

Our school lunch was turned into the North Pole by Mrs. Rayburn and her elves (the paras and others) helped turn our lunch room into a Christmas spectacular with lights, a holiday inflatable, and even the North Pole! It was a real treat and we loved it! Thanks for all you do for our school!
Our sixth graders enjoyed a holiday party with a walking s'more treat along with some holiday games including BINGO!
Mrs. Rayburn and her elf crew created a North Pole Wonderland for the students today at lunch. :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our North Families!!

We would like to welcome Mr. Smith to North Elementary, who will be taking over as our new sixth grade teacher when we return back in January. He recently graduated from Alma College and while at Alma he was a part of the football and track & field program. Mr. Smith was born and raised in Muskegon and attended North Muskegon High School. We look forward to having him join our North staff.
