Registration is now open for the Greater Michigan Construction Academy's BUILD LIKE A GIRL event.
This event provides young girls the opportunity to try construction based hands on activities. They also are able to hear challenges and successes from women in the industry.
They wont want to miss out!
This event fills up quickly and there are only 200 spots available, so early registration is encouraged.

North Elementary is practicing GRATITUDE over the next two weeks. Today after our Principal Chats, every student wrote down one thing to be grateful for at North Elementary. We created a "Gratitude Graffiti Window."
Fourth graders designed working Lego pollination models after learning about the remarkable structures used by the Giant Water Lily. It was a great opportunity to creatively collaborate!

Today some of Miss Yoder's 5th graders read empowering Veterans Day letters during the ceremony to honor Veterans. The rest of the 5th graders came to listen and understand the importance of this day to the community and country. Thank you to all of those who have served and are currently serving!!

We are proud to share that our school library has been enhanced through a grant from the Gratiot Community Foundation, in collaboration with the talented students from Shark Tooth Woodshop at St. Louis High School. The newly designed furniture creates a welcoming learning environment, fostering creativity and engagement among our students. Students are already enjoying their new reading spots! This initiative reflects the importance of community support in education. #SwarmTogether
Sixth graders explored materials engineering today by designing and testing tennis rackets in STEAM lab. Working designs needed to be able to bounce a tennis ball on the ground six times without breaking. Check out these successful rackets!

4th graders were engaged with Halloween activities throughout the day doing pumpkin math, watching an informational video about bats, and drawing some Halloween characters! Thank you to all the parents who donated items or came to the party to help! We appreciate the support!

November is Homeless Awareness Month and we’re excited to be partnering with United Way of Gratiot & Isabella Counties to raise money for Gratiot County Hope House through a coin war challenge called “Coins for a Cause”! Start saving and collecting your coins to send with your student! The classroom that raises the most amount of money will win a PIZZA PARTY!
