Staff person of the week - Leslie Siefka

Troy Pendell is a familiar face at Ithaca Junior/Senior High School where he spends a lot of time substitute teaching. He recently subbed in one of the 7th grade classes and they spent the day making Christmas cards for some very special people.
Derek Pendell, pictured in the red shirt and blue hat, is Troy and Kim Pendell's son. He is a member of the 1436th Engineer Company. They are currently overseas in support of Operation Spartan Shield. Derek is a 2019 graduate of Ithaca High School and captain of the Football and Track & Field Teams. Pictured with Derek are all the wonderful recipients of the Christmas cards made by some of the Ithaca students.

Congratulations to the students recognized by WMLM as Student of the Week during Tri 1. Students are nominated by staff for outstanding efforts in and out of the classroom.

Parents, here is this weeks schedule at IHS.

Thank you Mid for sponsoring the FAFSA competition

That FAFSA completion trophy looks good on us! IHS seniors had 40% FAFSA completion by December 1st and won the area competition hosted by Mid Michigan College. Congratulations seniors!

A reminder for your senior...

Now is the time! An educational tumbling session will be taking place on December 16 at IHS. We think you should encourage your daughter to try it out! Open to any girl in grades 7-11.

Students absolutely love Mr. Impemba's band and music classes! Mr. Impemba has been playing music and directing for over 10 years in various groups and bands around Michigan, so he brings a lot of practical knowledge to the classroom. He is a very skilled musician himself - and won multiple awards when he was in high school himself. We truly appreciate our highly qualified teachers like Mr. Impemba, who go the extra mile to give IHS students the best experience possible.
