Congratulation to Ms. Siefka and all the team members that participated in Indianapolis last weekend. The Ithaca community is proud of all your hard work. Excellent job!!!!!
Mrs. VanDeWeghe planned another excellent round of mock interviews today. Our students behaved very professionally and are one step closer to success in the “real world”. Thank you to all the interviewers and congratulations to our senior interviewees.
On behalf of the Board of Education, I thank the Ithaca Public Schools’ voters for their support of the renewal of the sinking fund. Approval of the sinking fund will allow the school district to continue to update facilities, improve school security, upgrade technology, and purchase new buses and vans.
Again, I am grateful to the parents, staff, students, and other members of the community who helped us inform people about the sinking fund renewal.

The Law of Conservation of Mass! Our IHS chemistry students verify and observe the mass of a chemical reaction (between vinegar and baking soda), while trapping carbon dioxide gas in a balloon. This lab is one among many that students do each year in chemistry classes. Engaging opportunities at IHS inspire excellence! Go Jackets!
