women aged 17 to 20 years old who live in or attend school in Gratiot County or are related to a past or present Festival board member, and who will be available to reign from April 2024 to
April 2025. Application packets will be available on the Alma Highland Festival website at http://www.almahighlandfestival.com and on the Alma Highland Festival Facebook page. The

Students in Mrs. Krieg's English 10B class are making connections between literature and real life and exploring censorship while reading Fahrenheit 451.
Students were asked to create a poster on a social or political issue advocating for or against censorship of that issue.



Freshmen and Seniors victorious Friday morning in out annual "Buff Puff" volleyball game. Sophomores and Juniors...better luck next year!



Nice crowd on hand Saturday as Ithaca High School hosted the 2024 individual regional wrestling tournament. All four Ithaca HS Seniors advanced to this years individual state tournament in 2 weeks at Ford Field. Congratulations!

Another wonderful assembly put on by Mrs. Shankel and the IHS student council. Mrs. Ridgell, Mrs. Ward and Mrs. McDaid did a great job as guest officials. Good job to everyone who helped put on this weeks activity!





Congratulations to Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. VanDeWeghe for starting up the Middle School Model U.N. program here at Ithaca Jr./Sr. High School. They competed in their first event recently at Michigan State University and did very well!

This is a reminder that there is no school for students tomorrow, Monday, February 12, 2024. We look forward to seeing students back on Tuesday!


Juniors and some seniors had a great time at the RESD’s Career Expo today. Students had the opportunity to connect with local employers and talked about co-op, summer and pos- graduation options.
