Happy Birthday to: Nicole Lopez Castillo and Lea Taylor
Seniors: Senior Float building will be this Sunday at 11a at Tanner Lamey’s. Powderpuff to follow at 6p. Everyone is welcome!
For students who were called down for the Big Brother and Big Sister meeting, there will be another meeting Thursday, September 25 at 7:45 to complete the match document, in the media center.
Tutoring is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:05-4:00. See Ms. Dailey, Mrs. Jorae, Ms. Lehner, or Mrs. Shankel. It is mandatory for junior high students who are failing.
Attention Sophomore class - Homecoming Float building will be Sunday, September 21 from 12-3pm at Saige Zimmerman’s house. Ask Saige for directions
Freshman: Freshman Float building will be Sunday, September 21st at 2pm at Jaxson Whitmore’s. All are welcome & encouraged to attend.
Junior High Student Council, if you are helping make posters for next week, please meet in Ms. Gonzales’s room today during lunch.
Auditions for the school musical will take place next Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, in the choir room. Any student in grades 7-12 can try out. Bring a song to sing, and come meet the new directors.
Homecoming is next week!! Kicking off Homecoming week will be our annual Powderpuff game on Sunday September 21st at 6pm! Come out and support those that are playing. Dress days for next week are as follows. ‘Merica Monday - we are kicking off the week repping the red, white and blue! Tired Tuesday - roll out of bed and roll into school in your coziest pajamas! Wacky Wednesday - Get wild! Mismatched socks, inside-out shirts, or crazy hair! Trip Around Thursday - Show your pride for your grades chosen city or rock your city color. Full Spirit Friday - It’s GAME DAY! Go all out in school colors and show your true Yellowjacket spirit!!
Don’t forget Tuesday September 23rd is the Bonfire! Food trucks start at 6:30pm, bonfire starts at 7:30pm!
