Ithaca Public Schools is asking residents on August 2, 2016 to RENEW its current 18 mill Non-Homestead millage for another 5 years from 2017 to 2021.
Taxes will NOT increase for homeowners. It is assessed against second homes, commercial and industrial property. This is not an increase, but a renewal of our current levy against non-homestead properties.
This levy is necessary so that the district can receive the state revenue per pupil foundation grant. The millage will also ensure that the district receives its full funding allotment under Proposal A.
The Gratiot-Isabella RESD has the following common calendar agreement for the 2016-2017 school year and will be followed by Ithaca Public Schools. Additional information will be released in the future. These dates are also shown on the school calendar located on this website.
Ithaca Public Schools is now opening their surplus school property auctions to the general public.
