Kindergarten Round-Up

Kindergarten Round-Up will take place on March 19^th at theRESD in Ithaca from 8:30-11 and then from 1-5. There will be no school for kindergarteners that day. 

Comprehension Corps

Our school is looking for people who love children, love reading, andlove helping others!  If this sounds likeyou, why not come and ENLIST in our COMPREHENSION CORPS?  This new volunteer opportunity will be themost fun you’ve had since…you were in elementary school!  To sign up, stop in the office at South andfill out a form today! 

March is Reading Month

This year’s theme for March is Reading Month is Dr. Seuss.  Students will spend the month reading,writing, and taking part in activities that celebrate the author’s work.  We will welcome reading month on March 1^stwith a kick-off assembly.  On March 20^th,our school will be hosting a “Rock and Roll Reading Assembly”.      

Preschool Registration Continues   

If you have a 3 or 4 year old and are planning to enroll them forpreschool in the fall, please call the school at 875-4741.  Spots are filling up, so act fast!  More information can be found on our Preschool Page

Spring Break

Spring Break will start on March 29^th (Good Friday) and gothrough April 7^th.  Schoolwill resume on April 8^th.

Attendance Policy

Attendance is taken at 7:50 a.m. and then again at 11:30 a.m.  A student will be considered absent for themorning if they arrive after 9:30 and they will be marked absent for theafternoon if they leave before 1:30. Excused and unexcused absences will not be counted; an absence is anabsence.
