North Elementary Grading Scale
Our North Elementary grading period consists of twelve-week formats. There are three 12-week grading periods in our school year. Each classroom teacher will be responsible to send home a progress report for each child at the halfway point of each grading period, ensuring that parents can monitor their child's performance.
Grading Periods: Please see the current year elementary handbook and 2010-2011 elementary school calendar for beginning/ending of grading periods. Grading periods may change due to days missed because of inclement weather or other reasons.

A 93-100
A- 90-92
B+ 87-89
B 83-86
B- 80-82
C+ 77-79
C 73-76
C- 70-72
D+ 67-69
D 63-66
D- 60-62
F 0-59
Please remember that Social Studies, Science and our Specials (Art, Gym, Media Tech, Music/Band) use another grading scale; which is as follows:
Credit + = Above and beyond classroom expectations
Credit = Meets classroom expectations
Credit - = Below classroom expectations
