Welcome to the North Elementary web page! I am the principal, Paula Peterson. This is my second year at North Elementary and I am excited for a great school year! 6th Grade Camp:
We will be leaving for 6th grade camp on Wednesday, May 15 and returning about 3:30-4:00 on Friday, May 17. Please be sure your child's permission slip is turned in along with any medications.
DDA Flag Day Banner Contest:
We are doing a banner contest and would like to get the banners hung by June 1st. We are offering a $50 gift certificate to a local business to the top 2 banners in each age group. Depending on how many banners we get we plan to do 3 age groups. Please see the link on the left.
Grandparents/Special Persons Day:
Please join us for Grandparents/Special Persons Day on Tuesday, May 14 at 1:30. Students will not be allowed to ride home with anyone other than a parent unless we have a signed permission slip.
Bike Safety Day:
Please see the link for the flyer on the left hand side. This is a free event on June 1 at Heritage Parking Lot at Alma College.
Drop-Off Area:
Parents: It has been brought to our attention that in the mornings in the gym parking lot drop-off area, that some parents are parking in the middle spaces and there are children running in between cars to get across to the building. This is concerning, especially due to the time of year and that it is so dark out in the mornings. Please talk to your child about the danger of running in between cars. Thank you for your help in keeping all of our kids safe!
